A delicious buttermilk chocolate sponge, topped with a cream cheese flan and burnt caramel topping. The Chocoflan is a delightful adaptation of ‘flan’ which is commonly served as a dessert throughout Latin America.
WHY 'THE IMPOSSIBLE CAKE'?
Deriving from Mexico, the Chocoflan is also referred to as the ‘Impossible Cake’ due to its magical inversion during the baking process. The rich chocolate batter and light, creamy flan invert during baking, transferring the sponge batter to the base of the dessert and the flan to the top.
